As usual for Ethel, we start the rotation off with a baby. TWO babies in this case.
It's a boy and a girl, identical so far. This is Jack and Agnes is somewhere on the floor.
Against all odds Andy managed to get potty trained, so he grows up well. His inherited traits are diva and rebellious, and he gets evil as well for his lack of nice and playful points. His aspiration is going to be fortune/pleasure which suits him well as the family heir. He's also inherited his father's nose which is his most important feature as far as I'm concerned.
Ether barely has a moment to breathe before she's expecting again. "Uuugh. Watcher deliver me from these trials."
Being pregnant again so soon after twins hits her hard. Five times she runs out to throw up, while the twins are screaming and she's getting warning messages about Agnes starving, and is close to doing the same herself.
It's the kind of situation when you'd call a doctor, but they're too poor to afford it.
Just two more days until Edith is old enough to help out!
Last season Archie switched from the athletic career to criminal, and only too late did I remember his LTW was to get to the top of the athletic track. He could have been in perma play for life if I left him there for another rotation. On top of that his week starts with several days off when he's not making any money at all.
Instead he hits the town in the hopes of suckering a few simoleans out of unsuspecting friends.
"I've got a hot tip on the llama race, Pat. A couple of bucks and I'll make us both rich. Trust me!"
At the bath house he runs into Patrick's farmhand, Increase Hayward, whom he strikes up a conversation with. Nothing has been decided yet, but Increase could be a possible suitor for Edith.
And speaking of Edith, she finally grows up and can help out with her younger siblings!
The twins grow up as well and it must be said they are very cute.
Jack here is a 10-10-10-2-1 Aires --pretty standard mean and grouchy for this family. He inherits the rebellious and no sense of humour traits, and he'll be a romance/fortune sim.
Agnes is an unexpected 7-7-7-0-7 Pisces--the nicest one in the family by far! She inherits the unflirty and hot-headed traits and rolls fortune/popularity.
Lots of fortune rolls in this family, which fits them very well. I was hoping for family for her, though.
And so Edith's life as a young woman starts. Childhood is brief for the poor. While school is mandatory for children it's a luxury for teens -- one which her family can't always afford. She mises her first day of school--probably one of many--to stay home and help her mom with the twins. Whenever she has a moment of free time she's working on her sewing and darning.
And that's the end of spring. Ethel ends the rotation much as she started it--pregnant and miserable. The family sits at 33k out of 50. Not much was earned this turn thanks to Archie's switch in job and his days off, but I believe it'll pay off in the long run.
