Rotation 2.2 Winter, Darktide

We're back in the hell that's the Darktide household. Their first-born child, Bree, is still a toddler, and Bonnie is expecting their second. As such she doesn't have much time or energy to deal with Bree, but at least she slept the night in the crib rather than on the floor, so things could be worse.

The baby seems to take forever to arrive, but finally they have another child on their hands. And yes, it's another girl. Dottie. This time with Will's blonde hair.

Around the same time Bree gets the notification that she only has one day left until childhood, and we  leave toddlerhood behind as early as possible. It was miserable. Here's to hoping childhood will be better.

She is quite adorable, and a 7-2-10-10-6 Sagittarius, which is a really generous personality. Shy but very active and playful. She rolls popularity/grilled cheese (was that a thing in Victorian times?) and inherited the mooch and good sense of humour traits from her parents.

Bonnie gets an evening's reprieve from pregnancies to get her fun up, and she manages to make just enough off painting faces on bricks to afford a bed for Bree. Will has the next two days off work and they came at the worst time.

Usually I'd have the women sew or make pottery, but Bonnie's one true hobby is tinkering.

Aand we have a sloppy baby. Dottie has literal flies flying around her which usually means zero neat points. Might be hard to marry this one off since charm school isn't an option.

Bree, meanwhile, is already starting to earn her keep. She comes home from her first day at school with §200 for her aptitude on the xylophone. I'd really like to get her a fiddle or something to keep up her musical abilities, but they're crazy expensive. For now she has to settle for the easel.

Towards the end of the season Dottie has reached toddlerhood, and the third child isn't bound to be far behind. I'm still waiting for Bonnie's fertility perk to kick us in the butt.

As predicted, Dottie is a zero neat point sim. A 0-8-9-8-1 Sagittarius, so she's rather mean as well, which isn't great wife material, or servant for that matter. Hopefully she grows up either pretty or very accomplished.

She gets the mooch, angler, and slob traits and rolls pleasure/fortune.

And that's where we leave the Darktides as spring arrives. Money is tight, the babies are unhappy and so is the wife, but at least everyone is alive. We'll see if that's still the case next turn.
