When I say I'm Maxis Match...

So I get a bit OCD about my downloads folder every now and then. I reached peak Maxis Match a few years ago when I decided all my CC needed to be based on base game items. Yeah. Did I spend ages working on this wedding cake mesh from 2003 when I could have used the much nicer, higher def and poly cake from Celebration Stuff instead? I sure did.

The cakes are cloned from Eris3000's cakes on MTS so they're fully functional.

And I separated the candles and roses from the hot tub. (Thanks again to HugeLunatic for helping when I got stuck. Lamps and I don't get along.)

    1. Happy to share, although most of the credit goes to Eris3000 for all the hard work!

  3. Great job! Is the slice matching the cake? I remember there being an issue with custom cakes but I think it's been solved. Also, props for using an older mesh! It fits the game beautifully - with all credit to your texturing, I'm sure - in a way modern cakes just don't.
